Public Health Programs

At the Red Cross Society of Moldova, we are dedicated to promoting public health by implementing comprehensive community programs aimed at both citizens of the Republic of Moldova and those from the left bank of the Dniester. We focus on raising awareness about the harms of alcohol consumption and smoking, promoting a healthy lifestyle, healthy aging, and rational consumption of safe drinking water. These activities are carried out with the help of the largest network of volunteers in the country, operating in 19 regional branches. Our constantly trained volunteers disseminate messages in the community and support vulnerable individuals, including refugees and people with disabilities.

Goal: To promote a healthy lifestyle in communities through education, prevention, and practical interventions focused on reducing risk factors such as alcohol consumption, smoking, and unhealthy eating.
